Christ Lutheran Friendship Quilt
This quilt was made in celebration of the 125th anniversary of the Lutheran Church in Greenwood County from 1869 to 1994. Upper Fall River (Norwegian) 1969; Christ, 1873; St. Paul, 1911. The names of all the ministers of all the churches are embroidered. This information is on the top of the quilt section in yellow material embroidered in lavender. Family names are also included on the quilt.
The blocks are 3” x 6” in. yellow and lavender. Names are embroidered in lavender on the yellow blocks of families who were church members. It is hand-quilted. Quilt backing is white bound in lavender.
